Dip your food up! A bad saying but five great recipes

Recipe 1: Vegan Pasta Carbonara

Ingredients:

  • A pack of noodles
  • 250 grams of smoked tofu
  • A packet of Dip Up Aioli
  • 150 ml water and 30 ml sunflower oil for dip up
  • A tablespoon of olive oil (or other oil)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the noodles according to the package directions.
  2. In a separate container, blend Dip Up with 150ml water and 30ml olive oil using a blender until white and slightly creamy.
  3. Cut the smoked tofu into small cubes.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the tofu well on all sides.
  5. After about 5 minutes, deglaze with the dip-up sauce.
  6. Drain the noodles and put them back in the pot.
  7. Pour the sauce over the noodles and mix well.
  8. Season with salt and pepper and serve.

Recipe 2: Vegan Alfredo with Roasted Vegetables

Ingredients:

  • A pack of noodles
  • A tablespoon of olive oil (or other oil)
  • A head of broccoli, chopped
  • One red bell pepper, sliced
  • One yellow onion, sliced
  • A packet of dips
  • 150 ml water and 30 ml oil for dip up
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Cook the noodles according to the package directions.
  3. Toss broccoli, red peppers, and yellow onions in olive oil and spread on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 20-25 minutes or until vegetables are tender and slightly charred.
  5. In a separate container, mix Dip Up with 100ml water and 30ml olive oil with a blender until white and creamy.
  6. Serve the roasted vegetables on a bed of pasta and garnish with the dip up sauce.


Recipe 3: Stuffed vegan peppers

Ingredients:

  • Four large peppers, halved and seeded
  • A cup of boiled rice
  • A can of black beans, drained and rinsed
  • A packet of Dip Up Aioli
  • 150 ml water and 30 ml oil for dip up
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  2. In a separate container, mix Dip Up with 150ml water and 30ml olive oil with a mixer until white and creamy.
  3. Mix the cooked rice, black beans and dip up sauce in a bowl.
  4. Fill the pepper halves with the rice and bean mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed pepper halves in a casserole dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until the pepper halves are tender and the filling is heated.
  6. Season with salt and pepper if you like and serve.

Recipe 4: Vegan Tofu Scrambled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • A block of firm tofu, crumbled
  • A tablespoon of olive oil
  • A packet of dips
  • 150 ml water and 30 ml oil for dip up
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the crumbled tofu and sauté for 5-7 minutes until lightly browned.
  3. In a separate container, mix Dip Up with 150ml water and 30ml olive oil with a mixer until white and creamy.
  4. Pour the sauce over the tofu and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Season with a little salt and pepper and serve.


Recipe 5: Vegan tomato cream soup

Ingredients:

  • A large onion, chopped
  • Two cloves of garlic, chopped
  • Two large tomatoes, diced
  • A packet of dips
  • 150 ml water and 30 ml oil for dip up
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions:

  1. In a large saucepan, sauté the onion and garlic in a little oil over medium-high heat until soft.
  2. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until the tomatoes have broken down.
  3. In a separate container, mix Dip Up with 150ml water and 30ml olive oil with a mixer until white and creamy.
  4. Pour the sauce over the cooked tomatoes and stir until combined.
  5. Use an immersion blender and puree the mixture until smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
